Member Spotlight: Sherisa P. Nuesa

Sherisa P. Nuesa has over fifteen years of board directorship experience.  

She currently serves on the boards of publicly listed Manila Water Company, Inc., (MWCI), AREIT, Inc., Integrated MicroElectronics, Inc. (IMI), Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) and Far Eastern University (FEU), and its non-public subsidiary, Fern Realty Corporation.  She is also a senior adviser of the board of Vicsal Development Corporation. 

She also sits as a FINEX (Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines) Foundation trustee and a Justice Reform Initiative (JRI) board adviser. 

Her past directorships include Ayala Land Inc., ACEN Corporation, ALFM Mutual Funds Group,  Actimed/Generika group, Blackhorse Emerging Enterprises Fund (Singapore), among others, and professional organizations such as the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and the FINEX Institute. 

Ms. Nuesa retired as a Managing Director of conglomerate Ayala Corporation, where she served in senior positions of several major subsidiaries :  Ayala Land, Inc., Manila Water (then under Ayala), and IMI. 

A Certified Public Accountant, she was awarded as the ING-FINEX CFO of the Year for 2008. She received an MBA degree from the Ateneo-Regis Graduate School, and attended post-graduate courses in Harvard Business School and Stanford University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Far Eastern University.

Member Spotlight: Frances Yu

Frances Yu is currently the Lead Independent Director for Century Pacific Food, Inc. and Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc. She is a Director of Nena’s Sanctuary, a pioneering concept in contemporary spaces nestled in nature, management consultant for Royal Duty Free in Subic and Joel’s Place, a modern grocerant retail format.

She has been Chief Retail Strategist of Mansmith and Fielders, Vice President and Business Unit Head of Rustan’s Supermarket, and Vice President for Marketing of Shopwise under Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc. She has over 10 years of consulting expertise in Corporate Marketing and Marketing Research. She has founded and managed as President the FJY Consulting, Inc. The company provides corporate marketing and management consulting services to leading companies in the Philippines and Asia. She was Vice President and General Manager of Trackers, the first research company to utilize computer aided personal interviewing in the Philippines
She is co-author of the best-selling book, The Mansmith List: the 8 P’s of marketing by Mansmith Industry Experts. She has a Master’s Degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, USA, magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Fordham University in New York, summa cum laude.

Member Spotlight: Atty. Gianna Montinola

Gianna is a former Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs at Far Eastern University who remains active in her roles as trustee and officer in the FEU group of schools. These include FEU Roosevelt,  the FEU Public Policy Center and the Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development (FIT-ED), among others. 

She is Co-Founder and President of Hands on Manila Foundation, Inc., a volunteer organization for community-driven programs, which is affiliated with Points of Light (POL), USA.  She currently holds the position of Co-Chair of the Asia and Australia Region.

A lawyer who was active in the profession for over 15 years,  she served as Philippine Honorary Consul to the Republic of Peru from 1994 to 1996.

Gianna is also an Education Commissioner of the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) under the Republic of the Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs. 

This prestigious role reflects her enduring commitment to advancing education, cultural heritage and lifelong learning in the Philippines.
