The NextGen Organization of Women Corporate Directors Phils., Inc. (NOWCD) is committed to protect and respect our members’ personal data privacy. We have established measures that are compliant with the requirements under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Personal Data Collected
We collect the following personal information upon becoming a member.
- Name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Preferred delivery address
- Company and industry affiliations
- Bio/Profile
- Photo
Use
The collected personal information is utilized for the following purposes:
- Develop, produce and market NOWCD’s projects, initiatives and advocacies; and,
- Share with the members within NOWCD, upon request.
The personal information of our members will not be shared with any third party without expressed consent of our members.
No information collected will be sold to any party.
Protection Measures
Only authorized NOWCD personnel and members have access to the personal information collected, the exchange of which will be facilitated through email and hard copy. The personal information will be stored in a database for two years. After two years, physical records shall be disposed of through shredding, while digital files shall be anonymized. The protection measures shall also apply to updated personal information and the reckoning period shall be the date of receipt of such information. When a member is no longer connected with NOWCD, the personal record of said member shall be permanently deleted from the NOWCD database 2 months after receipt of such notice.
Access and Correction
Our members have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about them, as well as to ask for it to be corrected if wrong or needs to be updated. Our members are also welcome to share feedback or raise any concern on this Privacy Notice, by contacting our NOWCD Secretariat, through the following email address: rbr@mageo.net.
